About the Author

Harrison has software engineering and technical product management experience and holds a Bachelor of Science (3.9 GPA) degree in computer science. He's also been studying anxiety, high performance, and mastery for the past 8 years.

He's worked in cross-functional roles at Capital One as a software engineer and release manager of ATM production software. He's also worked as a product manager where he interfaced with sales, marketing, product and engineering leadership, support, and customer success.

He learned the principles of behavioral interviews and resume readiness through MLT, career guidance organizations at Georgia Tech, and personal studies of a career guidance course by Ramit Sethi, a personal finance advisor.

He figured out how to prepare for technical interviews during undergrad from peers, Georgia Tech’s CS career readiness department, and company on-campus information sessions. He wrote an article on preparing for tech interviews as a way to pass down what he wish he had known before his senior year. He used these skills to receive internship offers from GE (received return offer), PwC, and HP. He also landed PwC leadership and KPMG leadership summit opportunities. He received full-time software engineering offers from NCR, Capital One, ATT, PwC, and State Farm and interviewed with Google, Square, Microsoft, and a number of other tech companies.

He has resume review experience from being on resume review boards at Capital and Sciencelogic. As a product managerhe had the privilege of being on the hiring board for 2 software engineering and 1 Q&A position. At Sciencelogic the VP of program management tapped him to be his technical interviewer for a Quality engineer position he had to fill partly because of my engineering background as a product manager. He also did resume reviews in his consulting club leadership position at Georgia Tech.
